I have a stack of commissioned t-shirt quilts to work through before Christmas, so this is the first of a few you'll see over the next couple of months!
1. Use a walking foot.
2. Don't accept more than 25 t-shirts. {This one is 21 in the front; 31 in the back.}
3. If you have more than 25...make two quilts. Backing a t-shirt quilt with a t-shirt quilt is a pain!
3. If you have more than 25...make two quilts. Backing a t-shirt quilt with a t-shirt quilt is a pain!
4. Cut everything to the same size, instead of piecing them together like a puzzle.
oh wow - what an undertaking! You obviously learned alot, so hopefully the next one will be easier!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finish. That is going to be one warm quilt with T-shirts on both sides!
