Weekly Progress - Home Again, Home Again...

...jiggety-jig!

Before I left, there was a lot of this...

{from the top of the Department of the Interior - my dad scored us a tour, including the Secretary's private office}

{Smithsonian of Natural History...he wanted to see the "cursed diamond" - and then the History Channel was banned...}

{Caterpillars at the Smithsonian}

{the Mall}

{Carousel}

{National Zoo}

And there was a whole lot of packing and driving, which meant there was not a whole lot of sewing. In fact, nothing was done except for Big Blue.

  Still Big Blue's binding, every day until it was finished on Friday! {And then, no breaks from the packing and driving.}

Finished:
Big Blue...like, totally finished.

And now I have this...
...that somewhere has my Picture-Perfect Polaroid Block Swap materials...that I absolutely must unpack and finish immediately.

  1. There are just some weeks when not much sewing should happen. This looks like a splendid family week! Good luck with the adoption - looks like things are moving along for that.

  2. You saw some awesome stuff! Very cool. And RE: the polaroids - I know some international blocks have just been shipped, so you have just a little leeway....

  3. Wow that's a lot of DC to see in just a few days. Glad you made it home safely, that's a lot of driving. At least you arrived home to cooler temps.

  4. Very nice! My husband is from the DC area, it's got a LOT to see! Looks like you had a good time. And to let you know - I'm pushing the time limit with my polaroid blocks and trying to finish them in time to mail today!! You're not alone!
