End of Month Report - November

Not quite as many finishes in November, compared to October, but there's starting to be more things piled on the "to bind" list. I usually bind right away, so this is the first time that list really exists!

Loopy, started and nearly finished last week, is my NewFO.

Squadron T-Shirt Quilt - the center is pieced and the borders will go on tomorrow. Scheduled for quilting on Wednesday, and will hopefully be bound and in the mail by the end of the week! Take that, Christmas.

And my leftover Swoon HSTs are slowly becoming Sweet and Sassy.

CC is constantly and continually a pain in the butt.

The Dude had a glowing report at parent/teacher conferences, and thinks multiplication is the easiest thing in the world. We both let our inner nerd fly at the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special in theaters. {Okay, it's not an inner nerd.}

We got word that our paperwork was delayed in Korea, so now it looks like travel will be even later into 2014 - mid-February at best. Instead of pounding my head into a wall, I signed up for a half marathon and I'm pounding my feet on the pavement.

And if I could count all the words in this post, I would probably be done with my Nanowrimo.

  1. Looks like you had a good month. You can do all that binding while you and the Dude watch the Christmas specials.

  2. What neat projects you have! Loopy Ewe looks like you did some free-motion quilting on minkee. I haven't tried FMQ on minkee on my domestic machine - I always use a walking foot. Thinking it might be time to try some. Love your design. ~Jeanne

  3. You have some great finishes. Well done!

  4. What great projects! It's always nice to get a few finished that get set aside waiting for binding. I pulled my own t-shirts out to do a quilt for myself as my first one, hopefully to be a NewFO in December, but we shall see. Wasn't Doctor Who's 50th amazing? I recorded it on the DVR and have gone back to watch it again already. :-) I'm stopping in through the NewFO linky party.

  5. I guess I'm sort of strange because I like doing the bindings. I'm not sure if it's because I like the hand sewing or if it's because the quilt is finished! You've got some really nice projects this month!

  6. I like doing the bindings too and I think it's because it's calming AND the project is almost finished. Your T-shirt quilt is awesome - that is going to be well loved. Love all the projects you have shown!

  7. Good job! You got a lot accomplished. Love your turkey wall-hanging.
